Associate Principal Appointment - Golden Hills International and Golden Hills Learning Academy
Golden Hills School Division is very pleased to announce the appointment of Carmen Spitzer to the position of Associate Principal of the Golden Hills Learning Academy and International Program, effective the start of the 2022/2023 school year. Carmen holds a Bachelor of Education, Educational Psychology from the University of Alberta and is working towards a School Leadership Qualification Standard from the University of Calgary. Carmen has been with the Golden Hills School Division since 2018 as a teacher, Instructional Coach, and International Student Services Support member. She is also part of the Division ESL team and supports the Golden Hills Learning Academy’s FLEX Program. She is a highly skilled learning support coordinator, instructional coach, and classroom teacher with over 27 years of experience. Her administrative and instructional coaching experience along with her varied teaching background will serve her well in her new administrative role.
