No refund of tuition fees will be made if the student has received a visa to study with GHSD. Full refund of tuition fees, homestay fees, placement fee, and medical insurance will be made if the study permit is denied.
There will be no refunds after the student has arrived in Canada for the purpose of studying with GHSD. 25% of the next semester of study for which a letter of acceptance has been issued and received will be withheld. No exceptions.
In the event of a medical emergency, all amounts not covered by medical insurance are the responsibility of the parent and must be paid directly to the authority expending the cost on behalf of the student.
In the event that a student engages in any activity prohibited by Canadian law and the Alberta School Act, students and the parents of students will be entirely responsible for all costs related to the violation of criminal, civil or statutory laws, rules and procedures. These acts can result in the removal of the student from the program.
If the student is removed from the program for engaging in activities against Canadian law and school policies listed in the Alberta School Act, the student will forfeit all rights to education and refund of all fees. The right of appeal is denied.
If the student has in any form misrepresented the truth to the system in completion of the application, the student's application will be rejected or the student may be asked to withdraw from the program at a cost to the student. |
