Trochu Valley School

Trochu Valley School is a grade four to twelve school located in the town of Trochu. We offer an excellent range of learning opportunities.

Trochu Valley School boasts a very successful drama program, with a four-day production and a dinner theatre on two of the evenings.

Our extra-curricular sports program consists of senior high golf, senior and junior high volleyball, basketball, badminton and curling for boys and girls. An annual ski trip is planned for junior high students in January and for the senior high students in April. Junior high school students also participate in a curling bonspiel sponsored by their student council. A biennial European trip is a Spring Break Highlight as well.

A very capable yearbook committee is commended for producing an interesting and memorable book every year.

The music program begins with the elementary students and continues through to junior and senior high bands. The bands are very active in community programs wtih the support of a band parent society. The senior high plans a trip to Vancouver every spring.

Industrial Education and Home Economics are offered to all junior high students and as options to senior high.
