Rockyford School

The Rockyford School has been in the community for five generations. It has gone through a number of stages, three, until it is at its present size. A recent modernization replaced heating, plumbing, electrical wiring and furnishings. It gas served as a grade one to twelve school, but at present is a Kindergarten to Grade nine with a population of about 100 students.

The village of Rockyford supplies about half the student body, and two school busses service the surrounding community. A unique feature of the school is that there is religious instruction offered in all grades as a result of the amalgamation with St. Rita's Catholic School many years ago.
