PLACEMENT
First come, first served basis
Priority given to younger aged students (ages 10 to 12)
Desire to obtain placement in dormitory must accompany the original application
If changing from homestay to Dormitory, students must follow the procedure established by Golden Hills School Division, and placement will be given upon availablilty
Room allocation will be made upon arrival
FEES

Fees are inclusive of all costs (Such as food, snacks, personal laundry), excluding bed linens and towels, the charge for which being $10 per month

MEDICAL
Availability of doctors and hospitals within walking distance. Students will be provided with names and addresses of doctors and dentists upon arrival
RELIGIOUS AND CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS
Students will be provided with address and contact information for religious and cultural organizations that are available in the community
Golden Hills School Division is a secular school system
Students are encouraged to follow their own belief system
FREE TIME
Students will be provided with time to engage in music lessons, sports, visit local sites, build friendships etc.
Sports facilities are attached to school as well as within walking distance
Trips to Calgary and Banff will be organized at minimal cost to students
Extra-curricular activities such as skiing, hiking, swimming, skating, basketball, football, curling, horseback riding and visiting the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology to learn about dinosaur exploration
